3500 Cops, 18 HRFS to secure Kolkata on Eid

The Kolkata Police has taken various measures for the smooth celebration of the festival. Arrangements are made in such a way that there is no difficulty in the movement of vehicles.

Police once again took to the streets to control the crowd during the festival. And after three days of Eid (Eid 2023). There are extra cops in town that day. Lalbazar said 3,500 policemen would be deployed across the city on the day. There will be 346 police demonstrations. In addition, 56 motorcycle patrol forces will patrol Oligli. There will also be 18 Heavy Radio Flying Squads (HRFS).

April 22, Eid Saturday. Every year Id Jamaat is held on Red Road. Prayers are known to be held at 678 places across the city on this day. The police will be keeping an eye on people so that they can enjoy the festival without any problems. The Deputy Commissioner and other senior officers of the Kolkata Police will keep vigil in their respective areas. In addition, there will be a supply of PCR and QRT.

And three days later Eid. People of the Muslim religion will rejoice. Many people come to Jamaat on Red Road. According to Lalbazar sources, security measures are being taken accordingly.
